Information we collect

We collect only the information you choose to give us:

• Email newsletter signups. Your name, email address and your consent to receive event announcements.
• Contact and inquiry forms. Your name, email address, optional phone number, the reason for your inquiry and the message you send us — including sponsorship, VIP, vendor and media inquiries.
• Event registrations and ticket purchases. Ticketing is handled by Eventbrite. We receive the attendee details Eventbrite shares with event organizers, such as name, email address and ticket type. We never receive or store your full payment card details.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry, send event announcements you asked to receive, manage guest lists, dinner counts and VIP table reservations, and improve the experience we offer. We do not sell your information.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses only the cookies and local storage needed for the site to function. If website analytics are enabled, they are used in aggregate to understand which pages visitors find useful. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings.

Third-party services

Some parts of the experience are handled by trusted third parties, and their own privacy policies apply to the information they collect:

• Eventbrite — official ticketing platform for all Wayback Wednesdays events.
• Website analytics providers — aggregate traffic measurement, where enabled.
• The Historic Columbia Club — venue and dining operations, including meal guarantees for dinner ticket holders.
• Email delivery and hosting providers — used to operate this website and send the messages you request.

How guest information is protected

Guest submissions are transmitted over an encrypted HTTPS connection and stored in a secured database. Guest-list, contact and inquiry records are not publicly readable — access is restricted to authenticated Wayback Wednesdays administrators, and our forms include validation and abuse protections. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please avoid sending sensitive personal or financial details through our forms.

Requesting access or deletion

You may ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Email wednesdayswayback@gmail.com with the subject line “Privacy Request” and the email address you used, and we will action your request. Every marketing email also includes an unsubscribe option. Requests relating to ticket purchases may also need to be made directly to Eventbrite.

Children

Wayback Wednesdays is an adult event and this website is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the event and website evolve. The revision date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
